Community Guidelines
Last updated:
How Clique83 members treat each other, in the Clique83 Connection app and at every date. Breaking these rules is a breach of the Terms of Use.
Everyone here wants to meet someone real, over a real coffee. These rules keep it that way. They apply in the app, at the café, and afterwards, to anything that comes from an introduction we made.
Be real
- Use your own name, your true age and your real relationship status. If you are married, Clique83 is not for you.
- Your photos must be recent and clearly you, without filters that change how you look. Group photos are fine if it is obvious which one is you. No photos of children who are not you, no nudity, no weapons.
- Write your answers honestly. Don't copy someone else's words or pretend to be anyone.
- One account per person, used only by you.
Be respectful
- Treat the person you meet the way you want to be treated, whether or not you liked them.
- No harassment, insults, threats, or comments about someone's body, religion, origin or background.
- No sexual comments or advances the other person has not welcomed. A yes to coffee is not a yes to anything else. No means no, and silence means no.
- No touching without clear consent.
- If the date is not for you, say so kindly and end it politely. A short, honest review helps us more than a harsh one.
Be on time, and keep your word
- Once you both say yes, someone is setting aside an evening for you. Cancel only if you truly must, and move instead of cancelling when you can.
- Arrive on time. If you are running late, tell us in the app.
- Every cancellation counts, and repeated ones lead to a frozen account (see the cancellation rules in Hỏi đáp).
Keep it safe
- Meet only at the venue that was booked. Get there and home by your own transport.
- Tell a friend. Share my date sends them the time and place.
- Never send money, lend money, invest, or give bank or card details to a member, whatever the story. Anyone who asks is breaking these rules: report them.
- Drink responsibly, and keep your drink with you.
- If you feel unsafe, leave. If you are in danger, call 113, then call or message (Zalo) the Clique83 hotline at 0348814483.
Keep it private
- What you learn about someone through Clique83 stays between you. Don't screenshot, post or forward their letter, photos or details. The only exception is Share my date with a friend you trust.
- Don't photograph or record anyone at a date without their clear consent.
- Don't try to find or contact someone outside the app before your first date, and never after they've said no.
Not allowed, ever
- Selling anything, recruiting for a business, multi-level marketing, or promoting a product or service.
- Offering or asking for sex for money or gifts, or any sexual service.
- Scams, including romance or investment scams and cryptocurrency schemes.
- Anyone under 21 using the app, or anyone using the app for someone else.
- Hate speech, violence, threats, or encouraging anyone to harm themselves.
- Anything illegal under Vietnamese law.
- Getting round our rules: new accounts after a freeze or ban, meeting outside the app to avoid the date fee, or using bots or automated tools.
When something is wrong
- Block someone from their letter or your booked date (⋯). If you choose a serious reason (you feel unsafe, harassment, a fake profile), the date is cancelled without counting against you and our team is told.
- Report someone from the letter, from your review after a date, or by email. They are never told who reported or what you said.
- No-show? If they haven't arrived 20 minutes after the start and haven't told you, tap “… chưa đến?” (with their name) on your date.
What we do
Our team reads every report, the most serious first. Depending on what happened, we may send a reminder, pause someone's letters while we look, freeze the account, or close it for good. A person on our team makes that decision, not software. When safety is at risk we may act straight away, and we may share information with the police. Members whose account is closed for breaking these rules may not come back.
We may update these guidelines. The app tells you when something important changes.
