What’s Inside Taste of Love? The Matchmaking Event That Has Helped Hundreds of Couples Find Each Other

Do you want to meet new people but feel intimidated by the idea of walking alone into a room full of strangers?

It’s a very common feeling. Many singles are looking for a serious relationship, yet find it difficult to open up in environments that feel too loud or create pressure to be interesting from the very first interaction. That’s why, when designing the Taste of Love dating event, Clique didn’t start by asking, “How can we make the party more exciting?” Instead, we asked a different question: “How can we create an environment where everyone feels safe enough to be themselves and confident enough to connect with others?” The result is an experience built around a deep understanding of Vietnamese social dynamics, allowing connections to develop naturally from the very first moments until two people feel ready to have deeper conversations.

Before the Event: Helping You Feel Prepared and Less Nervous

One of the main reasons people hesitate to attend social and dating events is uncertainty. They simply don’t know what to expect.

That’s why, before the event takes place, every participant receives complete information about the venue, dress code, detailed schedule, and an ebook with practical tips on how to start conversations and build meaningful connections. This allows you to prepare mentally beforehand rather than walking into a completely unfamiliar experience.

During the Event: Guiding Emotions Step by Step

Instead of expecting participants to immediately start conversations with strangers, Taste of Love is designed in carefully structured stages that help connections develop naturally.

The evening begins with light icebreaker games designed to create a relaxed atmosphere. You’ll have a natural reason to start conversations, interact with others, and remember the first faces you meet without feeling awkward or forced.

Next comes the Table Mixer, built around groups of four participants. Sitting one-on-one with a stranger right away can feel intimidating, while larger groups often make conversations too superficial. Four people creates the perfect balance—enough energy to keep conversations flowing while still giving everyone space to be heard and express themselves.

Throughout the event, participants also take part in interactive activities and collaborative mini-games. As you work together to solve challenges or complete group tasks, you get to observe more than just what someone says. You begin to notice how they interact with others, how they listen, and how they collaborate. Sometimes, the comfort we feel around another person comes from these small, natural moments rather than anything they intentionally try to say.

Once everyone has become familiar with one another and the initial awkwardness has faded, the event moves into the most anticipated part of the evening: Speed Dating. Each pair has approximately 10 minutes of private conversation. It’s just enough time to get to know someone, sense whether there is chemistry, and leave a little curiosity for a future meeting.

Before the event ends, each participant writes down the names of up to three people they would like to see again on a red card. This choice remains completely private between you and Clique. There is no pressure, no awkwardness, and no need to ask for contact information directly during the event.

After the Event: Connections Only Happen When Both People Choose Each Other

If two participants select each other on their red cards, it becomes a Match. Clique will privately connect both individuals so they can continue getting to know one another after the event.

This ensures that every connection begins with mutual interest rather than uncomfortable rejections or one-sided conversations.

Why Does This Model Work?

The entire Taste of Love journey is designed to help participants feel less nervous about meeting strangers, remove initial communication barriers, build connections through real-life experiences, gradually create a sense of safety and trust, and provide opportunities for meaningful one-on-one conversations with people who are genuinely compatible.

Instead of forcing you to make an immediate impression, Taste of Love allows emotions and connections to develop naturally, one step at a time. Real chemistry doesn’t come from the pressure to be impressive - it comes from having enough time and space to be yourself.

Ready for Your First Date?

One evening. More than 20 interesting singles. Genuine conversations. And perhaps a connection that could change your dating journey.

Taste of Love doesn’t promise that you’ll meet your future partner overnight. But we do believe it is one of the most natural ways to meet compatible people in real life.

And who knows? The person you’ve been looking for may be waiting to meet you at the next Taste of Love event.
